More than 50% of the metering computer solutions operating in the UK North Sea are provided and maintained by Swinton Technology. We have built on this UK success by supplying systems to support global offshore operations, ranging from the Gulf of Mexico, Australia, Dubai, Norway, Denmark, Côte d'Ivoire, and so on.

As industry leaders, we are continuously searching for improvements and ways to introduce new technologies. Our culture, coupled with our large team of engineers, has the added advantage of allowing us to deliver upgrades while sites remain operational.

Our expertise in supplying a complete range of flow computing technologies has positioned us well to support offshore platform operators, whether it be by supplying the latest technology for their greenfield projects, upgrading obsolete technologies on their mature brownfield assets, or supporting legacy equipment to extend the field life of their current installations.

At Swinton Technology we understand that most onshore production assets have complex metering requirements, such as handling multiple product lines or requiring site specific batching functionality. These onshore assets often play a key role in the national and international production of gas and petroleum products.

Our engineering expertise aligns well with these complex needs, with many of our engineers having 20+ years’ experience in flow computing and metering technologies. This expertise is well proven, and our install base continues to grow year upon year.

We have supplied systems globally for onshore production assets, particularly in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, with our largest overseas territories including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman. One of our largest onshore production systems is installed in Algeria, where we provided a new metering computer system for the Hassi Berkine oil field.
